Replacing a Lost RFID Eartag

If a pig’s RFID ear tag is lost, damaged, or fails, the Fetura CLOUD system allows for easy replacement. The replacement process varies somewhat depending on the version of the application being used.

Desktop version:

1. Go to the Breeding tab.
2. Select the Lost earring option.
3. In the new window, select the number of the animal to which you are replacing the RFID ear tag.
4. The system will automatically indicate the previous earring number.
5. In the New Earring Number column, enter the new number and confirm the change with the green button in the lower right corner of the screen.
6. The earring number will be changed immediately.

Mobile Version:

1. Go to the Breeding tab.
2. Select the Lost earring option.
3. In the new window, select the number of the animal to which you are replacing the RFID ear tag.
4. Spike your pet with a new earring.
5. Then scan the new earring with an RFID scanner.
6. After this operation, the system will automatically assign a new earring number.
