The “Dictionaries” tab shows all word resources added to the farm. Dictionaries are indispensable for adding reasons for events in the conduct of breeding, but not only. We can also add contractors, task categories and animal breeds in them.<\/p>\n\n

Once an entry is added to the dictionary, it will be available for selection in the corresponding forms. To add the appropriate entries, go to the “Settings” tab -> “General” -> “Dictionaries” in the main menu of the farm.<\/p>\n\n

To add a new entry, click the “Plus” icon . Entries can be edited with and deleted by clicking the “Pencil” icon or the “Trash” icon<\/p>\n\n

Contractors<\/strong>: This tab includes all customers, i.e. companies and individuals to whom pigs are sold or who supply pigs. <\/p>\n\n

The dictionary is used in the process of reporting economic sales in the “Sales” tab located in the Farms menu.<\/p>\n\n

Reasons for dem<\/strong>ise: Here are various reasons by which the pig may have died. This can be useful for tracking herd health and identifying health problems. Once the new reason for demise is added, it will be available for selection in the form for reporting pig deaths.<\/p>\n\n

The dictionary is used in the process of reporting a Fall in the Breeding tab <\/p>\n\n

Reasons for treatment<\/strong>: This tab lists the reasons why pigs can be treated. This is important for keeping veterinary records and tracking the health of individual animals.<\/p>\n\n

The dictionary is used in the process of reporting the treatment of adult animals and piglets in the Breeding tab<\/p>\n\n

Reasons for not<\/strong> getting pregnant: Here are the reasons why pigs may not get pregnant. This can be useful for monitoring fertility and detecting potential reproductive problems.<\/p>\n\n

The dictionary is used in the process of reporting a Missing Pregnancy in the Breeding tab<\/p>\n\n

Breeds of animals<\/strong>: This tab lists the different breeds of pigs that can be raised on the farm. Once a new breed is added, it will be available for selection when entering animal information.<\/p>\n\n

The dictionary is used in the process of tattooing gilts when new breeds are created. We can assign breeds during the move in<\/a> or by editing the animal on its card<\/p>\n\n

Reasons for selection<\/strong>: Here are various reasons why pigs may be selected for further selection. This can be useful to breeders in making decisions about reproduction and herd improvement.<\/p>\n\n

The dictionary is used in the Selection process in the Breeding tab. The selected animals can be seen in the Scarcity report under the Reports tab.<\/p>\n\n

Task categories<\/strong>: This tab lists the tasks that can be assigned on the farm. Once a new category is added, it will be selectable when creating new tasks, both in the tasks tab and on the calendar.<\/p>\n\n

The dictionary is used in the process of creating new tasks in the Settings<\/a> tab -> Tasks<\/a><\/p>\n\n
