In order for the FarmWatch Pro control unit to communicate with the Fetura CLOUD platform via the cellular network, the SIM connection must be configured correctly. In most cases, this requires entering the appropriate APN (Access Point Name) provided by the cellular network operator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you begin the setup, make sure the device is set to SIM mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obtaining the APN Name<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You should obtain the APN name from the carrier whose SIM card you plan to use in the device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The easiest way is to look up the information on the provider’s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example (Europe) \u2013 Orange<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In a web search engine, enter the phrase \u201cAPN Orange.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orange is used here solely as an example. If you use a different carrier, enter the phrase \u201cAPN [carrier name]\u201d in the search engine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the main unit, go to Settings \u2192 Advanced \u2192 SIM Configuration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After opening the SIM settings, click the button “Network Settings” <\/strong> located in the lower-left corner of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To add a new APN name, click the empty field in the “APN”<\/strong> column .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inserting the SIM Card into FarmWatch Pro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Warning!<\/strong> Before installing the SIM card, disconnect the control panel from the power supply and remove the backup battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open the device’s case and locate the SIM card slot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insert the SIM card into the slot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The card should be positioned so that the cut-out corner is in the lower right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After installing the card, close the device’s case and reconnect the power supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the SIM card is active and the APN name has been configured correctly, the PBX should automatically connect to the cellular network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
