The animal counting feature is designed to make it as easy as possible to keep track of livestock in real time\u2014for example, during loading or herding. The guide below explains how to properly start using the counter and how to use key features, such as batching and summaries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: If the “START” button is grayed out, it means the camera is disconnected or has temporarily lost its connection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Start counting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To proceed to the counting process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Make sure the system is ready (green indicator light in the corner of the screen).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select the counting direction using the blue button at the bottom of the screen. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click the Start button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      Press the start button no sooner than 10 seconds after the last pig has passed the center of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. On the main screen, you’ll see the current live feed from the camera and the main counter<\/strong>, which increments in real time as animals pass by.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      2. Handling groups and saving partial results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      When counting a large number of animals (e.g., an entire shipment), it is helpful to divide them into smaller groups. The history panel in the lower-left corner of the screen is used for this purpose: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
