1. Configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Note: It may take 2\u20134 minutes for the device to turn on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the device is connected and running, follow the steps below in the order listed to synchronize the equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Finding a camera on the network:<\/strong> The “Camera Settings” screen will display available devices along with their IP addresses. If this does not happen, click the blue “Scan Network” button to have the system automatically detect cameras connected to your local network. If that doesn\u2019t help, check that the connection is correct. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Selecting the camera manufacturer<\/strong>: In the list next to the detected camera, click the \u201cManufacturer\u201d field and select the appropriate brand of your equipment (e.g., Dahua).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. To access the login options:<\/strong> Click the yellow key icon located to the right of the camera name field.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Entering the camera’s login credentials<\/strong>: A new window will appear on the screen. Enter the username and password assigned to your device, and then confirm the information by clicking the green “OK” button. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          If you enter the wrong code 4 times, the camera will be locked and will need to be unlocked. Click here<\/a> to find out how to unlock the camera. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To edit the camera name<\/strong>: Click the text field containing the current camera name (e.g., \u201ccam-1\u201d), which is located right next to the manufacturer you selected earlier.             1. Entering a new name<\/strong>: A large keyboard will appear on the screen. Use it to enter a clear, descriptive name for the selected camera, which will help you identify locations on the farm later.
